Guide To Installing Java Games
I will try and keep the links alive, and the guide updated.

This guide has now been updated (8-1-2007) August, 1st 2007, this guide will teach you how to install java games on your Motorola V3 razr or the like. And will also teach you basic P2K file transfer and editing skills. I?ll get straight into it:
Drivers (Getting Started)
To allow Windows to recognize your phone you will need to download all the files in the following link:

Then plug your phone in, windows will alert you and say new hardware found! When it asks to install drivers click on the option which allows you to decide where you want to download files from (This option is different from computer to computer). Tell it to 'include this folder in the search' give it the folder you moved all the files to, then click next it will find the drivers, just keep clicking next or yes. When it is done, another driver install window will pop up, keep doing the exact same thing (search in the specified folder) and repeat until the install driver box stops popping up. This installs a different phone driver every time, so it is not optional to complete all of them.
Midway
You will then need to download midway to send the games to your phone:

JADmaker
You will then need to download JADmaker, this is an essential program which will allow you to convert the games you download from downloaded format (.JAR) to both Downloaded format and playable format (.JAD) basically, it creates a JAD file to go with your JAR file, do not delete either file once you have converted it. More on game conversion will be said later. Downloading Your Game
You?re definitely want to take the time to actually download a game, or you have come thus far for no reason, the best site for this is listed below. It is free and has great categories and descriptions. It allows you to download both the JAR and the JAD but it?s worth just using the JAD maker with the JAR rather then messing around with the provided JAD file, the site is as follows: http://java2phone.ru/eng/
Using JADmaker
Unzip all the files that came in the .rar folder into a new folder. Then put the game you just downloaded (The .JAR file) into the JADmaker folder. Then drag and drop the JAR onto the JADmaker Icon, and viola, a new icon should appear (With the same name as your .JAR) but with a .JAD extension. Do not delete either of these files.
Enabling The Java Applet Loader
To advance any further in the process you will need to enable the Java applet loader, to do so you must download p2k tools. When loaded, press ?refresh?, then press ?other features? on the left hand bar, (then click ?get? near the bottom of the screen) then click java in the column a little to the right, then check the top box called ?Java Applet Loader? or something similar Do not uncheck anything, also, do not check anything that you do not know what it is. Then press ?set? to the right of ?get?. Note: I know there are later versions of p2k tools, but they are buggy, and still mid-translation from Russian (When this guide was updated).
Configuring Midway
To transfer the games you will need to configure Midway, do not as of yet, open Midway. First, go to the device manager, go to the modems tab, and then double click ?Motorola USB Modem?. Click on ?advanced?, then ?advanced port settings? at the bottom of this box there should be a drop down menu with something written in it, (COM#) the number next to the word COM is the port number. Make a mental note of it, close all windows. Now, start up the Midway program, a dialogue box appears, change the settings to the COM number you saw listed in the device manager. Do not touch the Baud or anything else. If a dialogue box does not appear, click on file, then click on settings, then change the COM port number to the number you saw in the device manager. Close all windows, including Midway.
Uploading The Game
To upload the game onto your phone you need to start the java applet loader. Unplug your phone from the USB port (if it was plugged in). Then go to your settings menu, then go to Java settings, then go to Applet loader, and run it, it then should say ?plug in cable? or something similar. Plug in your USB cable. Now you are set to go, open midway, click file, then click open .JAD, then direct it to the directory where both your .JAD and .JAR files are, then select the JAD file and press open. Then click ?send JAD? on the top toolbar. A popup should appear on your phone saying the game name, and ?cancel? and ?download?. Obviously, click ?download? and wait for it to complete. And Viola, you are done.

Motorola L2 (Silver)
Ok, so, I don't do it exactly how you do but I do know how to transfer the games onto my phone in a different fully working method.
The Issue I have is, the games I have transfered, don't seem to be the right kind for my phone. They said the games were for motorola but I think they do not fully fit to my model.
What I experience is, games partialy out of screen, arrow pad not supported, no way to disable the sound, huge white bar at the bottom and so on.
Is this normal, is there no way to get games for your model of phone without paying rediculous prices for games you can complete in less than an hour?

when i connect my phone while p2k tools is on. P2k tools does not detect it and the light at the bottom of p2k tools remains red

Yes this is normal, games that say they are for any phone, means that they have been only minimally tested. Just tested enough to see if it actually runs on your phone.

In the 'Uploading The Game' portion, you mention going to 'your settings menu'. Where is this 'settings menu'? Or how do I start the java applet loader?

Hi, I have some problems with tha java app loader too. I have a motorola v3c and I have enable the java app loader with a program named PST. But I dont have the option Java setting in my phone. Is that something I need to install or to unlock?
