TONY HAWKS AMERICAN WASTELAND HELP!!!

I am new to this, But I have been playing Tony Hawk's American Wasteland since december when I got it. I am in santa monica right now. I am trying to get to tony Alva. I have done everything except the grind from one flower thingy to the other. I have tried it millions of times, but nothing has worked!!!!
I NEED HELP!
I heard something about manualling, but I have tried that a few times, I have to grind AND NOT TOUCH THE GROUND!!!
so please please please HELP ME!

That kinda ruins the game... The way to get gaps without touching the ground is you do a manual but you gotta balance. good luck

first grind the first flowerbed till u get to that thing with the water in then ollie to grind on the water thingy and that shuld turn u to the right and then ollie onto the next plANT pot
