I havent had no problems been burning off backups either Nero or dvd decryptor now all of a sudden nothing will burn completely. The only thing I've done was upgrade my memory by adding more to it. Didnt think that would off been a problem when it came to burning also I've gotten a new burner hoping that would solve the problem now I dont know someone please help. Heres the log from the lastest burn.

heres a GUIDE to get DMA's back on

Just curious how many sticks, and how much on them do u have?

u can try those fixes and see if that helps, also what for other members to post who are better at reading burn logs.

I did what u said and my burner aint even being recognized now as for retrying my burners. I used my other one now this is the new log.

Just to let u know from my experience that it is better to have the memory sticks the same amount, for example 3 256MB, or 3 512MB,

say u want to have 1GB of ram, it is better to have either 2 sticks of 512MB, or 1 stick GB, or 4 256MB(if u have 4 slots), rather than 1 stick of 512MB + 2 sticks of 256MB

this is my opinion, also i don't think this has to do anything with ur burning problems though

have u tried the sugesstions?

I did follow the guide however right after I finished the guide, the computer said I needed to restart to finish the configuration so I did. Then when it loaded back up it replied it needed to restart for the new drivers to be sucessful however when I checked it said that the DMA if avaiable options where on both device 1 and device 0 under transfer mode. So then I restarted as it said it needed to so the drivers would work successful but when it loaded up the final time it went back to PIO Mode under device 1 but device 0 is still under DMA if avaiable. Any other ideas ????

ok try it this way, to get ur DMA back on

Uninstall the drivers for ur Burners first, dont restart,
then uninstall the drivers for ur primary and secondary controllers

then restart ur PC,

Also u are still burning at 16x, this is way to fast, burn at 8x
