I bought a Plextor PX-760A drive this weekend and installed all of the current firmware updates.

I noticed that whenever any disc of any type is inserted into the drive, the drive light stays on indefinitely.

I thought that this was strange, and read a review online from a reviewer who stated, "don?t be alarmed by the drive?s light being on all the time since that is part of the drive?s normal functioning."

Has anyone else with this type of drive experienced their drive's light being on indefinitely when a disc is in the drive?
