Does anyone know if it is possible to backup a Wii backup ?

Will i still need an LG drive ?

If not,what software & process should i use ?

I got someone else to back it up for me who i can no longer get hold off.

One of my kids has today decided to trash my original so i would now like to backup my backup.

Rawdump wont' read backups, you need to use Nero, or imgburn to read the backup. Basically, copy it like you copy other dvd data discs. I would recommend imgburn, it's a great program. Make sure you check the size too when you're done to make sure you got a good read. As far as I know, there's still not a checksum database for wii games, so checking the size of the ripped .iso is as good as it gets for the time being.

I just tried it last night and it works perfectly. I used Nero and made a ?Copy Disc? dvd. Using a laptop, it took an hour for it to copy and another hour to burn at 4x. On the bright side, two hours total isn?t as bad as the dumping process.

I read at max and burn @ 16x on Prodisc -r media and it is done in less than 8 minutes or so.
