I just bought a new LCD television (Toshiba 32HL67) and I want to hook up external speakers to it. Nothing fancy. I was thinking about some small 2.1 computer speakers, just something to give some decent base and some good volume.

Is there any way to hook these up so that they turn up and down with the TV remote? I am drowning in remotes and if I introduce one more my wife is going to have a nervous breakdown.

I know, I know...my wife resisted as well, but she came around after the other remotes disappreared and realized how easy it is to use.

As for the PC speakers, I'm not sure...and for controlling the volume, ther may be a feature but I'm sure each model is different.
