please help me. i accidentally deleted the drivers for my dvd drive on my Packard Bell pc. since then all the drive will do is read discs, it will not write to any. I'm running windows xp professional version 2002 and have tried without success to find and download the drivers online, both manually and through the wizards in windows. if anyone can help me to get my dvd drive working and burning cds/ dvd's again please let me know where i can find the drivers required. Thank you very much if you help.

Do you know exactly what drivers you unisntalled?

Most drives just use the Windows ones - so try this:
* Right click on my computer
* Go to properties>hardware>then device manager.
* Right click on the listed under DVD-CD Drives - pick uninstall.
* Reboot and let windows do it's thing and reinstall

Give that a go and let us know - doesn't work post back what error you get when trying to burn.
