We all know downloading ISO/CSo's off the computer is illegal..
But everybody still does that though....lol.

Yes, u can rip ISO's from a UMD using a UMD RIPPER program created to be lauched on a PSP.

Yes, also u can play PSX games on FW 3.02 OE-B or higher....

ROMS are for emulators like N64, GBA, Mame, NeoGeo...etc.

What's ur PSP firmware???

I upgraded to 3.11 when I first got my psp. Dumb mistake. I also have a TA-82, I heard that it is not compatible with all emulators/ROMs. Is that true? Can you play PSX games on 3.3 0EC? and what does the FW on 3.02 mean? Thanks alot, sorry for all the questions and I want to get eduacated in all this stuff.

First of all, you need a custom firmware to load any ISO or ROM. Don't take my word for it but i dont think that having a ta-082 motherboard will make a huge difference... But anyways you need A 3.03OE-X to 3.10OE-A to play iso's. To rip them off the psp, use a program called "usbsss". This will allow you to dump the iso stright to your computer without downloading any extra crap (ISO makers ect.) Then just put that into the ISO folder (when you plug in your psp, it should be right there in the main folder). ISOs can be anywhere from 300MB-1500MB in size so make sure you have some room. 500MB-700MB is the average size for a ripped UMD. After that go to the "game" menu on your psp and go to "memory stick". Click on that and it will be your ISO of your UMD. :) Hope that helps!
