I downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5 on my ta-081 with no problems, then installed 3.10 oe-a. Used it for about a week and a half.
Thinking i was completely safe from a brick, i had been putting it in sleep mode during the game world series poker (playing from iso). One day i tried to turn it on and it was bricked. Not semi but completely. Cannot even access the recovery menu.
It seemed very strange because I am very careful about even not turning it off during saving, etc. Although I don't think that would cause it, it would be the blue screen of death, which is not a big deal.
So I am kinda scared about using homebrew software after i fix my psp.
That's what I thought(hoped for) initially, but then tried plugging ac adapter, charging the battery fully, still wouldn't work, then tried a different memstick, or no memstick, or with and without umd, all the combinations.
I couldn't believe it because I wasn't messing with the flash when it happened. I try to turn it on, power light comes on for 15-20 sec, then turns off. Just like people describe their bricks. . .
i gave mine to my cousin he played it 4 about 3 hours then he said it turned off and wen i turned it on it was a brick. I still havent fixed it, got no money!!!
