HerZZa, if you have NOTHING useful to say or input to the thread, then don't bother posting. Consider yourself reported.
Anyway, more to the point, Aizen, I'll answer your question as best I can :)
To play PS2 games on a PC you have to emulate a PS2 on your PC. That basically means, the PC will use a program to act like the PS2 does in roder to run the games.
TO get the games on to your PC you just need to copy the files accross to your PC.
However, as simple as it seems, there are not very many good PS2 emulators working for PC that I know of. You can read through this thread and it may help you out a bit :)

Sorry if any of that is unclear.

I'm really sorry.
It's just when I saw this thread me and my mate completely burst out laughing because we know the OP is probably new to using a PC in general.
You can try emulate PS2 games on your PC, but trust me, either the games won't work or they'll run at EXTREMELY low framerates.
So unless you are some professional coder and have the source code to the game and stuff, you won't be able to create a port, it's not something you just do overnight. You can spend years porting a game and it could turn out bad... just look at RE4 on PC :P

You really must be kidding.. It isn't possible at home.
The ps2 uses a very specific set of hardware which a pc doesn't have.
It is nothing like as simple as changing the format of a few files.. You need to write a completely new game engine. You may as well write the whole game from scratch (it's probably easier to do that than try to port it)
It's easier to write an emulator and they haven't even managed to get a working one of those yet.. The ones there are play something like 3 games, slowly and with lots of bugs.

I heard on a forum here that you can plug the PS2 into a TV card (if you have one) on your PC and use a speacial program to show the PS2 on the PC.

I'm sorry.. I fail to see the point or significance of that post.
What does that have to do with what is being discussed here?

I believe what the topic creator wanted to ask was how to play his PS2 games on his PC monitor since a lot of recorded stuff nowadays showing KH2:FM+ for example are being done on the PC, he might have assumed you could convert it to a PC game. So anyway, like one person said, about plugging your cable components and such into a TV card or converter for that matter, you can in fact play, using your PC monitor, your PS2 and whatever games you want. As far as recording goes, some packaged TV tuners have the software avaliable with it or you can easily google yourself one like WinDVD (forgot the name). Just answering if anyone wanted to know about this because I wouldn't mind having one but not enough money for the one I want unfortunately. If there is indeed somehow in some way to convert a PS2 game into a PC game, then you have yourself an extremely good hacker who's incredibly good... so I hope I solve this old problem if anyone looked at this thread like me.
Added: if Aizen was really able to play Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, I'm assuming it could have been one of those PS2 emus package with some games like how the old PSX emus had some roms/isos you could play with too with each game, a distinct plugin and configuration to get the most out of it like FF9.
Btw, if I'm entirely misinform, would someone please kindly correct me =P.

Yes.
The OP clearly states he wants to convert PS2 games into a PC game to play on his PC.
