I was wondering why my Lite On DVD-ROM would rip dvd's at slower speeds and overall time than that of my Lite On LH-20a1h dvd burner? I would have thought the ROM would rip at a faster rate? Is it because my ROM is the slave and the burner is set up as master? I bought the ROM to save on the wear and tear of the burner and assumed it would rip dvd's faster. Thanks for your help
