Cannot play bacups on WiiD modded wii

Hi!

Just came back from the store where they chipped my wii with the latest wiimod. In the store we tried with red steel backup and it worked perfectly

I buyed the same discs used ( verbatim DVD-R) and went home. I burned a few games as image, both wii and gc backups ( also different regions) but it still does not work!

Do I need to buy an entire new dvd burner or what is the problem?

It finally worked!

It seems there was some corruption with some of the PAL games. Because when I tried some other it worked fine

Hovewer, ALL of the NTSC games do not work :/

According to Wiid website the v1 update adds region free capability. The firmware I installed today was v2. And it includes the v1. But I dont think it did update my wii then :/

When I look closer into the archive it seems corrupt aswell. So now I am searching the net for an intact v2 firmware update. A little hard cause the v1 is not on their webside and the v2 was released today :/

I will come back later with more new about this
