pretty simple just go to wii options then internet acess then wireless network then search for a access point

It also depends on the router you get. I have two because of this issue. My Netgear doesn't want to talk to it (actually it will but not long enought to make a solid connection). My Linksys works great using autodetect. Very easy.

Once you get the internet connection setup, download the Internet channel (beta) from the wii shopping channel.
