my friend modded his wii so it can play his backed up games, now i asked him if there was any side affects and he told me, there is a small green dot in the background every now and then.
now this seems odd, cause the chip seems like it shuts off the cd drives abilty to detect regions on the disc, or something like that. before i go ahead and do this mod, can any one tell me of any issues, i dont want to wreck the wii.
i have not, but he a computer guru, so i take his word for it, also because it wasnt there prior to the mod.

dazilla: it started out legit, then people started posting dumb comments, I was just trying to avoid breakage of the wii, i mean they're kinda hard to find, and i dont wana go with out one.
