I searched around the forums and never really found a good answer that made me feel confident so I decided to post a thread if I missed the answer I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Now to the question and problem.

I just modded my Wii to play backups with Wiikey. The Modding went well and I can successfully play backups of games. currently I have successfully backed up Cooking Mama and MOH:V.

I tried to backup Godfather BE and CoD3. First try was CoD3 with an HP DVD+ Disc specifically this http://www.cmcdisc.com/dr41.htm. It would load and start but during the beginning loading where there is a 3 in the bottom right corner and stars counting it locked up and gave me an error. I looked at the disc and noticed a small hole in the burn area so I discarded and burnt another copy of CoD3.

This time I used TDK because I ran out of HP discs http://www.supermediastore.com/tdk-16x-d...x-spindle.html.
Thats the disc.
It loads up normally and is recognized as CoD3 and I get past that loading screen with the 3 in the corner and it locks up in the opening sequence and errors. (multiple tries later with same results locking up at different points i discarded that disc)

I now try burning Godfather BE and the burn shows up and loads the beginning of the game and I even get to start making my profile. The moment I hit save profile on the screen it locks up and errors in the same manner.

It seems to me like the Wii cannot read the information from the disc in order to save.

Now after I have bored u and most likely overdetailed you, my question is.
TDK Disc? or is it the two ISOs?
(The ISOs were all recieved from the same place with no complaints of any errors of any kind)

PS for the second CoD3 burn I deleted the old ISO and recompiled another one and used it.
Thanks!

Just incase anyone was interested, I went and bought Verbatim Discs and they work like a charm. So dont use TDK for game iso's.
