I have a file that has a .wii extension. How do I convert it to .iso format?

try renaming it.

Select file
press F2 (enter in Mac os x)
enter desired name.

Make sure that windows is configured to display file extension.

no you are wrong sir, don't rename it. If you used rawdump 2.0 it should have came out in iso form if you used older version click convert raw to iso in raw dump.

As blacksheep says you need to unscramble it. An unscrambled iso should be 4,699,979,776 bytes or 4.37gb. You may also need regionfrii as well depending on the iso and you console.

Sorry, my bad. Didn't realize. I've never had a .wii file (only .iso) so I probably should have kept my mouth shut.

I could have sworn that someone said renaming it was their fix...

I read somewhere a couple of people have found that the files are named wrong and an .iso file was actually a .wii file that had been renamed rather than unscrambled.

just use an unscrambler. It wont unscramble it if its just a renamed iso file so just download a wii unscrambler (there's more than one) and attempt to unscramble it. It will create a second file with the iso ext that you can burn with any good dvd burning program (I use Nero)

using Nero will be no problem for me. all i need to know is where you get the iso files.

you either rip it from an original copy or you download it from a newsgroup, torrent, etc...unfortunately, those sites can't be discussed here.
