One of my games when i put it in the drive i can get to the title screen but then screen goes black and i loose the wii remote sometimes it says to take out disc and restart system i tried the verbatim discs at a slow burn rate as well as other types of media just wonderin if anyone else has had this

its call of duty 3 like i said it lets me get to the title to select start on the wii menu past that ...black screen

Burn at a lower speed.. Try 2x works for me and I backed up that same game.

usually this happened if you play different region in your wii. Other than that then it could be your modchip.
