Hello all, I do have previous soldering experiance, but today...I botched my first mod, and with the wiikey no less...ouch. Anyhow, points 4 and 6 have lost thier pad..are there some alternative points that people have had some sucess with?

Any help would be much appriciated...

PS - no points are connected, and the drive works great still.

i have same problem you have to solder to ic leg noe look where tarcing goes thats where you need to solder but don't do it have pro do it.

I've traced it now, and got a positive reading on all 6 connections with an ohm meter, but it still does not boot backups...so I am boggled...maybe my chip is toast
