burning video to dvd but no sound

I am trying to burn video to dvd and can using nerovision express 2 but there is no volume. How do I get volume to record?

Is there an audio stream present on the burned DVD? Open it in Nero Recode and see what audio streams exist.

The audio is generally combined with the video so unless you eliminated it or there was no audio stream to start with, it should be with the burned video.

Is it possible, the audio is in a format your player can't recognize?
