DL writing with Decrypter: cannot recover TOC

I ripped a DL dvd and produced the ISO and MDS file with Decrypter. I then burned a DL disc using the MDS file. Upon verify, it indicated "unable to recover TOC" and the disk was a Coaster.

I have tried this on two different burners, and gotten the same result.

Any thoughts?

You really need to make sure your burner firmware is up to date with DL media. Also the quality of the media may be a factor. Verbatim +RDL is tops with all the others quite a few steps below in quality.

Evidently neither the media nor the ROM was the problem. A program had been loaded by Nero called INCD. As recommended by another user in another threat, I removed this program. It solved the issue.

Not the problem, but you should upgrade your burner software from the old DVD Decrypter to the new ImgBurn. Software is by the same author, LUK.

Imgburn handles dl writing much better.
