Downloaded ps1 FF7 - Confused...

Hi, im new to all this ps1 to psp thing....I've read other threads, but seriously they don't make any sense. All of them go on about ripping the ps1 game onto the psp. The FF7 game i have was downloaded...can someone just tell me what to do from here? Below is what i have now, of FF7-ps1 verison

Just tried it, on devhook verison 3.03....the cd's come up as corupted data....Any other suggestions?

you can't play ps1 games with device hook ,you need dark alex custom firmware

Is the dark alex custom firmware, the 3.03 oe whatever thing? Can you still play like iso and cso's on it. Is it better than dev hook? Can it brick you psp in anyway?

when you installed device hook 0.52 if you flashed the files to flash 1 ,in the device hook menu you should go to the option FLASH INSTALL and use the option "uninstall DH files from flash1" (3rd option) before install the custom firmware
if you are not sure do it just to be safe

Right smlvfx, ive followed your instructions and it says :
Directry flash1: dh/ : not found
Press any button to return.
IS this what was ment to happen? I really don't want to brick my psp...

Hey its okay now, I've upgraded to 3.03oe .... however the ff7 game (cd1 in psp/game) still doesn't work. Maybe this might help; the files in cd1, 2 and 3 all have stuff like this in

extract, there might be an .iso in there or something, im not familiar with PSPs though... so i could be wrong, but theres something beyond those .RARs!!

I just dont get this.....Ive extracted them and they come out as eboot, and key bin files... It doesn't matter i'll find someome with the actual game. Thanks you anyways

omg those are the files, put them in a folder in GAME, called whatever u want. i hope u didn't delete them
