I just bought a new Philips Progressive-Scan DVD Player.


I burned a couple XviD movies to a data disc using Nero. But when I put into the player its works for awhile then it will just stop working, It says "wrong file content". Am I doing something wrong when burning the data disc or is it something else?

Did you finalize the disk after it was done burning? I have a Philips dvp 5140 player and I have never had a message like that, it has played everything I have thrown at it so far.

After the disc was done burning, using Nero, the dvd writer try opened and it said it was completed successfully.
