you posted this in the wrong forum

anyway,if you have 1.5 use the winstaller for the custom firmware
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892

to play the isos or cso (compressed iso) you need to create a folder ISO (with capitals ) in the root of the memory stick,to put the isos or cso files, this is for psp games
ms:\ISO

to play ps1 you need to convert them to eboot files

read the guides

you donwgraded to 1.5 sony official firmware and now you will need to upgrade to dark alex custom firmware

no you dont need any more software or programs to play the isos, just the custom firmware

if you donwload a game and after extracted you have a psp game folder and a umd data bin file you can generate a iso from this with umdgen
you can also use umdgen to compress the isos to cso ,and to rip stuff from the isos like sound files or movies files to make them smaller

you dont need device hook anymore

the link is in my first post
custom firmware
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892

start umdgen ,drag and drop the psp game folder and the umd data bin file to the place where it says "no items to show" ,then click save as a iso

no the custom firmware doesn't support dax compression it must be iso or cso

i already told you
to play the isos or cso (compressed iso) you need to create a folder ISO (with capitals ) in the root of the memory stick,to put the isos or cso files, this is for psp games
ms:\ISO

the ISO folder goes to the root of the memory stick ,the root of the memory stick is when you connect the psp to your pc its the first image that you see its where the psp folder is,
you dont put the ISO folder inside the psp \game folder

ms stands for memory stick
ms:\ISO

the iso should be just one file

if you downloaded a game and it cames in several rar files you will need WinRAR to extract the iso
see this guide for WinRAR

are you doing on purpose?
this is the third time that i tell you

YOU DON'T PUT THE ISOS INSIDE THE PSP\GAME FOLDER

YOU PUT THE ISOS INSIDE THE ISO FOLDER ,AND THE ISO FOLDER GOES TO THE ROOT OF THE MEMORY STICK

AND YOU DONT NEED ANY OTHER PROGRAMS

for more info search here
