Do I need a GC memory card to play any original or burnt GC games on my Wii?
Would I also need a GC controller to play GC games or can I use the wireless Wii controller that attaches to the Wiimote?

In order to play origional or backup copies of GC games, You do need to have a GC controler and memory card (if you wan to save).

I've been telling owners of newly bought wii systems that did not have the GC to put that $20 that they would spend on a clasic controler and put it twords a nice wavebird. eBay has decent prices for them. That way, new wii owners can get access to the library of GC games AND be able to play just about any VC title without the need for a clasic controler.

I did pick up a clasic controer though. DKC on the VC is almost unplayable with the way the buttons are mapped on the GC controler. But that's besides the point.
