Hi you guys. I have video content on my laptop that I would like to watch on my TV. I know burning it to disk is one option, but can anyone give me an idiots guide on hooking up my laptop to the TV so I can watch it on the TV with out burning. I am using Windows xp. Keep up the great work. Thanks.

Then all you have to do is plug in a some RCA type cables into those the yellow one is video the other two are Audio and plug the other end into the Video and Audio "IN" jacks on your TV.
Then you will need to go into your video properties and select TV as monitor.

if you are lucky enough to have a good laptop and TV, then also check to see if you have a little blue plug, like you would plug a monito into (VGA). If so that would give you a better picture quality.
nopt real sure on that one myself as i have never done it. PLus the TV i have you just plug something in and it auto detects what type it is (VGA, Component, HDMI or Composite) and as long as the PC was running an output it would show up on the screen.
On laptops dont you have to enable dual screen everytime you want to do so?
On mine you do but on dektops you just leave it n its alwayson.
Anyways is your TV a LCD or Plasma?
If it is you might have a VGA plug on the Tv and the laptop a blue square plug.
it would greatly improve your quality.
Alos might you have an S-VIdeo Plug which is also better then the normal ones?
svideo is 1 black circlew plug bugger then the yelow one and has pin holes in it about 15.
