Ok iv been reading around a great deal on the forums and the net. Hours apon hours of searching and I see that some people out there say that you can use a Action Replay (PSX version) to boot PSX backups on your PS2. Now I have a AR from back in the day, and a new Slim Line PS2 (non-silver) since my launch PS2 finally died. So is it true that you can indeed use a AR to boot PSX games on the PS2 OR do I have to find a breaker pro? Thank you ahead of time for all the info you could possibly share.

I am looking for the same information. I have a fat ps2 and I have been trying to load backup psx games using ARMAX with no success. You should take a look at this thread. Ive tried it on my system but it didnt work at all. Anyway goodluck with your backups. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/372300
