hi, the first thing you need to know is that im a noob with all this hacking psp's and stuff, ok, well ill carry on. I heard that you can play ps1 games on your psp by using DAX's firmware and i really want to play final fantasy VII on my psp like that dude on youtube, my psp is version 3.30 and ive never used CFW before, i dont know if i have to downgrade or even if i CAN, or if i can just update to 3.30oe if thats what will come out next
thats the tutorial i found and i have none of those so i thought i'd get the firmware first, (i assume a newer version will work, i also assume 3.10oe has more stuff than 3.03oe) can i get it now, can i downgrade, can i upgrade, or do i have to wait?
i really need help, i really want to be able to play the best RPG of all time on mute while my teacher bores me to death with threats and stuff we've all heard before...
Well if you are on 3.30 firmware then im afraid that you cant play ps1 games, or do anything from the psp hacking scene really, unitill if and when the psp 3.30 downgrader comes out, if it does.

thanks, but imagine there was a downgrader where would i go from there? up to the downloading CDRwin and popstation to extract the ps1 disk and put it on the system. please remember that i am in fact, a noob. well in this kinda thing anyway... cheers!...
I know that you want someone to give you the steps now but it wouldn't do you any good just wait for the 3.30 downgrader and DO NOT UPDATE anymore. Once that comes out there will be guides made for that very question. Plus you would have to keep this page bookmarked for way too long of a time.
just enjoy what you can, don't update, and wait it out.
