Hello,

I have a NTSC to PAL Converter for the Wii. I was wondering if anyone had one for Gamecube Games, so i can play them on my Wii!

Also, does anyone know how i could downgrade the firmware?

Thanks,
Jake.

what would be the point of downgrading your wii firmware? It hasn't restricted anything yet. In fact, if you DID downgrade your firmware and tried to play newer games (SPM on PAL for example), you could brick your wii.

Wow. Hold on, I can get this one...

1) There are three main system types (NTSC-U, NTSC-J and PAL).
- NTSC-U means you bought your wii in the USA area.
- NTSC-J means it's a wii imported/bought from Japan.
- PAL is the european version.
You can tell what type it is by when and where you got it.

2) The parental update is part of one of the firmware updates. If you have an internet connection going to your wii (wifi or LAN adapter via USB), then you can easily download the firmware updates required for the latest games.

3) There is NO firewire for the wii. Not now, not ever. NEVER. Paper itself is not firewire compatiable. Paper is good for printing on, writing on, folding and may other things. It curently is not compliant with the firewire standard. If you were refering to the Nintendo released wii game, Super Paper Mario, it should have been abreviated as SPM like on all the other posts.

Please read what you type befor you post. I need my Excedrin. my head hurts now. for Paper!!

Is this true? This is the first time I am hearing of this. Can any1 backup his claim? If true, that really sucks btw, do any other burned wii games work? or did it shut it out completely. Do any or the real games work at all?

sum1 already had stevedawg and stevedawg85 is longer than 10 chars :(

Hi,

I burnt it again and it works again. It was quite strange.
