Can´t convert ratdvd to dvd

I´ve been trying to convert diferente films from ratDVD to dvd and the program is constantly crashing. I receive a message that the program encounterd a problem and will be shut down. I used to convert with ratDVD on a Compaq portable desktop and never had any problems. I bought a new a computer and now I can´t convert any ratDVD format films. Is the problem with the new computer? What do I have to do to overcome this situation? I could really use some help. Thanks.
