hi i have got a sony stereo system it is quite a old one one with a single slide cd player at the bottom however when ever you turn it on it makes a clicking noise on all funtions from the second you turn it on untill u turn it off and it would say No disk i opened it up and the fault that is causing that is the laser lens is going up and down up and down continuously even without a Disk inserted it was annoying me so much i opened it up and i disconected the cable that leads from the board to the cd unit can any one help me is this the right forum
