hi all. I've purchased the BenQ dw1800 burner but everytime i load a cd or dvd my system hangs. i cant wath videos or view anything on any printable media. but once i eject the dvd my system works fine. has anyone had this kind of problem before? if so how did you sort it out?

Check your jumpers are set right and the IDEs also.

hi ripper,
i tried all that but still nothing. i need a program for windows vista that will slow down my dvd drives read speed.
