SUP dont listen to the membership under my name because i know alot about on how to mod an xbox......back to what i was saying. Now most people who softmod only know how to mod new maps....but not today!I think that if you want a level 50 and ur a modder mod the old maps!!I am writing this just incase some people dont no how which i have seen on XBL and I dont want to know people saying I ALREADY NEW HIS becuz...why would you search it if u no how to

So go to your modded dash(if you do not have search google for Ndure installer or if your a member of se7ensins go their)put in Halo2.
Now FTP a connection IMPORTANT-IF YOU FTP A CONEECTION BEFORE YOU PUT IN Halo2 THEN YOU WILL NOT SEE IT IN D/GAMES!!!!

Now once you get Halo2 to appear in D/Games then you will see 3 folders called Bink, Maps, and Media, inside maps or media should be fonts.

Copy all these folders into a folder on ur desktop called Halo2(does not matter waht u name it)and also copy default.XBE.

Now if you have a default harddrive you might want to delete all the campaign maps and sing-player-shared. Keep all multi maps and shared and mainmenu. Also to save space you can delte everything out of bink.BUT the only .XBE you should have copied is default.XBE the rest are unnessacary

Last step! Now that you have all the disc files simply go to E/games and make a folder in E/Games called Halo2. Now put all those folders in Halo2 or whatever you named it. If you would like to mod these maps just find an Encrytion fixer(i dont think CMR works for old maps)and patch the maps in maps folder and replace them with modded ones.Easy as pie NO MODCHIP.

O yea just go on ur modded dash and go to games on HD and you should see Halo2 their if not you missed a step because i told you everything that I did to do this

Thanks for taking my tutorial on how to add Halo2 to the HD
P.S. You can take other games and go back into D/games but you NEED a bigger HD on how to do this

George

Any particular reason you put this in the HD-DVD forum?

How duplicate and unnecessary is this Neph?

There must be at least 50 better written tuts in the xbox section..
By people who aren't using txt spk and bad speeelin. y am I moaning.. becuz it annoys me..:sic
People who talk about modding on live don't have the first clue about anything.. and newbie means exactly what it says.. new to AD, and this kind of attitude post proves how "Newbie" the poster is.. hasn't looked at what we have, just comes along saying "I know everything" badly.. hahahahaha.. fodder for the wolves, and our teeth are sharp and polished. If that isn't begging for a ragging I don't know what is.
This is not how to write a guide. Wrong place, wrong language, wrong attitude.. as this isn't in the console forums I can unleash my bad attitude here to my hearts content in the sure and certain knowledge that this piece of duplicated and badly written whatever it is (almost impossible to understand).. errrm.. will vanish, as hopefully will another txt spk console *edited for avoidance of another talking to*

I don't think that's it. He posted another Halo2 map tutorial in the DIGITAL CAMCORDERS section:

Great catch eatsushi! I didn't even connect that other one even though I responded to it :P

drlegacy,

If you're going to write tutorials, which is cool, you need to A: use good grammar, spelling and punctuation, B: write them on subjects that don't already have several tutorials and C: try posting them in an appropriate forum.
