question,
I had my wii modded. it gets to the main screen and after i hit start the screen turnes black and wont play. the guy who modded it for me told me that it is the dvd's that I am using? is this true?
what kind of dvd's should i be using? other that seeing the picture of the game in the main wii screen i have no idea it works.
can someone advise a noob.

I had a similar problem after installing my WiiKey. It read the dvd and started the game but then it said that it couldn't read the media.
This was with some nameless DVD+R brand. I now use sony DVD-R and have had no problems at all.
So I'd say go and try some other media.
