Ok I baught a WiiKey and had it installed by professionals. I then downloaded 4 games, and burned them with Nero. none of them worked. The guys who installed my chip copied my Wii-sports and burned it but it didn`t work. SO they ran tests and found out all the games were encrypted. So how do I unecrypt them. if raw dump and Nero doesn`t decode them then what does? Please help me I just spent alot on this chip and installation.

did you try to back them up yourself or did you dl an iso?

if u r trying to read original wii games u need to read bunny_c's tutorial

u need the correct model LG dvdrom drive, rawdump and net framework 2.0 installed

if you have the above then open rawdump 1st before inserting the game in the drive then press start even if it ha initialised properly or not

if it is an iso try using different media

if you spent alot on this chip and installation then some research 1st will help pay dividends :)

I have a sneaky suspicion that he's using downloaded games. If this is the case you need to first make sure that you have un rar'd the .r** files. Use WinRAR for this. Next if the resulting single file ends with a .wii then you will have to use an unscrambler to convert them to an .iso and then you can burn with imgburn and it should work. I am not aware of ANY scene-releases that are encrypted. Sounds like the guy that did your mod doesn't know what he's talking about.

We have tried downloading 6 games, and tried ripping and burning Wii sports, it all ends up the same. Cannot be read. It's really bizzare, So r u guys saying that just the ISO's I get from piratebay.org, isohunt.com, and torrentspy.com should work fine?

try using img burn instead of Nero at a slow speed, and try loading up the wiikey 1.2 disc to make sure the chip was installed right.

download the setup disc v1.2 for wiikey from the website wiikey.cn and then enable region override also dont use crappy quality dvd-rs cuz it doesnt work. I suggest using verbatim dvd-rs

We downloaded the Wiikey upgrade disk today and it even fialed to read that. So i figure that the chip is disfunctional and needs to be returned. The people who installed the chip even tried reinstalling it and that didn't help. So in the end it must be broken, and a waste of $110. Well thatnks for the help anyways guys.
