Hey ppl,

has anyone returned their Wii after they had taken it apart?

I took mine apart and now it doesnt work!!!

I want to take it back to Argos but I didnt know if I should go directly to nintendo?

is it still in the 16 day return period?

not exempt from the above?

did u pay cash?


if all the above is true then you could do it

give a false name and address when asked

if you paid by card then they have your address so its a case of chance if each nintendo is directly linked and traceable?

funny enough i messed mine up the first time i tried to mod it everything worked except for the DVD player and I returned it to Nintendo on ARP and got a nerw one when they recived mine they never said anything

i dont know if you could do that but based on other things (ps2, or other electronic devices) when you open some up.. it automatically voids the warranty on it..

yeah nintendo won't do anything for you.

your best bet is to put it back together and take it to the retail store you bought it from and try to get your money back from them.

But don't tell them you took it apart.
