I have a cyberdrive DX082D that I purchased about 3 years ago and have never had an issue, until now. CloneDVD gives me the "bad media" error.I was trying to burn "Bobby" and "The Holiday". I am burning with AnyDVD 6.1.3.6 and CloneDVD 2.9.0.3. I use pure Taiyo Yuden DVD+R 8x disk and Sony DVD+R 1-8x (Taiyo Yuden). I have never had a problem with this combo before. I know I can probably burn the movie with Ripit4me but I want to know if the problem really is the "bad media" or maybe the burner.

Please help!!!!

This may be a burner issue. Looks like this is an older drive and hasn't had a firmware update since 2004.
The last version is 150B which added support for -R media.
If the firmware isn't up to date update it and see if that helps.

I'd try RipIt4Me too and see it's burning program works or you get an error.
