Can't get Mario Power Tennis to work On Wii

I've changed the .gcm to .iso, i then burnt it using disk utility on the mac. i'm now trying to play the NTSC version on a PAL Wii, it reads the disk fine, it comes up with Mario and a Nintendo sign, then Waluigi with a Sign.. then it goes Black and does nothing?
