yesterday i tried soldering the wiikey to the wii and I messed up. I accidently burned off 2 soldering points on the board itself not the chip. The wii still plays fine I just put it back together but is there anyway to still solder to the board or is this a wash.

I'm in the same position but with three of my points. You can trace back to the large chip and solder directly to that but its not for those with shaky hands!! I have managed the first one but the other two are beside each other. eek. Good luck. I would be interested to know if anyone knows somewhere else to solder as well.
