Ok so i havent burned a music cd in a bit.....using my dvd burner i create a music cd with tracks on my computer...but the last 3 tries have produced a "successful" burn, but all 3 cds play no music. Looking on the bottom of the disc it appears to have data on it

ive tried on the slowest speed as well

even tried on multiple cd players/computers

Used to burn music all the time, very rarely do now, what could i have done?

Can I suggest you try another burn, save the log when questioned after the burn and post the contents of the log. Edit out your Nero serial number each time it appears before you post the contents of the log file.

There are some smart people at AD who will be able to help.

Making Music CDs is a basic Nero function, so, like you say, it should be possible to find what has gone wrong.

Just a couple of things I notice:

The discs you are using are what kind? They are showing an extended capacity of 81:24:70 minutes
9:21:45 AM #6 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 306
Last possible write address on media: 366220 ( 81:24.70)
Last address to be written: 193810 ( 43:06.10)

This is a Ritek 80min that I used - 79.59.69 minutes
12:56:53 PM #6 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 306
Last possible write address on media: 359844 ( 79:59.69)
Last address to be written: 305353 ( 67:53.28)
.
Also, it looks like you are trying to have no gaps between tracks. Is that what you were trying?

Track 01: Length: 03:41.74, Pause frames: 150, Filters: 1, Name: '11 - Drain S.T.H. - I Will Follow.mp3'.
Track 02: Length: 03:14.73, Pause frames: 000, Filters: 1, Name: '01 - Drain S.T.H. - Enter My Mind.mp3'.
Track 03: Length: 03:37.15, Pause frames: 000, Filters: 1, Name: '02 - Drain S.T.H. - Alive.mp3'.

I am confused by the disc length, but the rest looks reasonable.

You might have to wait for a smart person to help

the discs are verbatim cd-r

and yes no seconds in between tracks

i asked my friend and he too has had a problem with the newest version of Nero. So as i recall ever since i put the newest version on, i have had trouble burning dvds/cds. So im going to try 2 get Nero 6 something and see what happens.

7.5.9.0 is OK for what you are doing. I did a MP3 to Audio CD burn on a Benq on 7.5.9.0 so I could compare my log to yours.
I don't know about disc length. Have you got Nero setup for overburning? It's an option in the Nero express Expert Features tab. If this is set for anything over 80 mins I suggest you disable it and have another test.
