I have an AVI that's 699MB. Can I burn this to CD with Nero 6 and watch in dvd player? or do i need a dvd disc?

Your DVD player has to be able to play DivX files if you just burn the AVI as data.

Otherwise you'll need to do an AVI to DVD conversion with Nero's Nerovision or another conversion program like ConvertXtoDVD.

You could burn it to 2 cdr discs if you convert to VCD format. Also you might want to make sure that your dvd player can play vcds. I would burn to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD or Nero vision express 3. Laters
