I tried to access the Wii Shop Channel but I can't go past "Connecting. Please wait...". My wii is connected to the internet(although Wiiconnect24 isn't on). How can I get off this screen? Would unpluging my Wii be risky to the system? Thanks.

Do you have anything that would interfere with the connection running on your PC? (PeerGaurdian 2, Azureus...etc.)
