WiiKey config reset

Is there something wrong with my WiiKey?
I go into the config menu, and turn ON the region override feature, and SAVE the setting. Now, because there isn't an option for me to exit the config menu, I have to reboot the console through the config menu (or press the reset button).
Then I go back into the config menu, and the region override feature is back to OFF!!!!!

This is driving me nuts!!!

Is there any remedy to this?

There is nothing wrong. The setup DVD will always display its default settings, even though you changed them initially. The DVD does not read from the chip at all, hence why it does not detect what YOU set on the chip through the DVD.
