I know and understand this question has been asked over 150 times but im gonna make it 151....How do I play PSP iso's on a psp?
-I currently have a backed up Iso immage of the game
-running 3.03OE-C
Thanks....
P.S. The motherload of guides isnt really helping.
My PSP Life:
2.71->2.81->3.11->2.71->1.5->3.03 OE-C

if its been asked that many times why not follow the answer?
but anyway...
put the iso in a folder called ISO in the root of the memory stick.

Well that didnt do anything at all except take up a huge ammount of space on my memory stick.
My PSP Life:
2.71->2.81->3.11->2.71->1.5->3.03 OE-C

games are huge, did you go to game --> memory stick? it should be listed there if its a .iso file, if not i have no idea what you are doing.

OK, i formated my memory stick to have a clean mem. stick...I rune 3.03Oe-c and it automaticly puts an iso folder in the root of the mem. stick...I put the iso of the game in that folder..go to game---mem. stick---and nothing is there...i have a UMD in my drive and tried it and still dosnt show up...im wondering if it has something to do with my settings.

are you sure its a .iso then?
there should be no reason for it to not show up if you havent done anything major to the firmware.
make sure its a .iso file, then reply back, cuz i cant think of anything else.

Ok im gonna start from scratch, I have downloaded my game and I open the folder and there is 15 RAR files...files named from "filename.rXX" (when XX is a number) all they way from 00,01,02...and all the way to 14.
Then there is a file name called "Filename.Rar" I highlight all the files and right click and do extract. Then I get an "ISO" ("filename.iso"). Then i had formated my memory stick, plugged it into my usb port...dragged the file to the ISO folder on the root of my memory stick. Went to the Game menu---Memory stick... and nothings there...I am certain I'm running 3.03oe-C.

well, if you did the WinRAR thing correctly then i really dont know what else to tell you, maybe someone else on here has had the same problem, sorry i cant help you with this any furthur...
maybe try a different game .iso and see if it works, if it doesnt, maybe your firmware is screwed up (it says version 3.03 OE-C in the system settings right?)

hi! im also running a 3.03 oe-c firmware.. i know how to install iso's as a matter of fact i am playing tekken dark resurrection and valhalla knights however once i start loading my gta-vc, nfs most wanted, and naruto nultimate iso's the screen turns black.. i already disabled the no umd thing in my recovery menu.. what else am i missing? help anyone! and ive already tried downloading from 2 different sources.. still the same outcome.. BLACK SCREEN!! its friggin annoying already!! and the worst part.. in gta-vc and nfs.. it FREEZES!! help!!

What is happening to the psp forum?? Better question is why some of you still respond to this blatant ignorance.
1.Search damnit, this is the most basic question ever asked....my retarded dog could search and find a solution

3.ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE USING CUSTOM FIRMWARE?
4.Rename the iso to something with less charactors....for instance "OMG IM SO L33T PSP R0x0RS.iso" will not be recognized.
5.Worst comes to worse, use the recovery menu, go back to 1.5 then do the OE process again.

Go to the recovery menu and bump the processor speed a bit then try again. For some games it is necessary (Ratchet and Clank for instance)

Can somebody help me please!
I have upgraded my PSP to version 3.40 and can't get it to 3.40OE-A so as to upload ISO games I tried uploading games using my brothers older version PSP but what about the 3.40 version one

Report the thread, have it closed. No one appreciates this kind of harassment, you are do no one any favors.

I have spent my fair share of time helping around the forums.....i dont need a lecture from some dude i dont know. Who are you refering too when you say 3 left?? The_fiend, Jan, Neph?? I was friends with all three, so your words mean nothing. They fought the fight against stupidity just as I do. It is our responsibilty to tell the lazy and ignorant the err in their ways, and hopefully the forums wont be filled with pointless sh!t like it is now. Since you seem a bit naive....the said members left due to the immense stupidity and lack of respect the nooblets show in return for our help, not because of people like me.

Why should I be kind and polite? I did in fact answer his question, despite not really wanting too. People are leaving because nobody owns up to the rules they agreed to when they signed up. Retarded threads like this are far too common, starting to piss off valuable members.
No hard feelings here, but cmon, id rather piss a noob (meaning lack of common sense, not a beginner) off and have him leave then alienate a member that adds value to the site.

Ah yes! I totally agree with you! And I feel empathy for you in that you are probably the only enforcer in the PSP forums, all I am saying is:
Flaming does nothing, evidently retards do not learn. You can flame and burn them all you want, but I can guarantee you, nothing you say or do will stop them, all flaming does is drive away prospective good members.
