could not download my JVC Everio camera to my PC using its software that came with it, Is there any other software I can buy for this camcorder or is there something I'm doing wrong

does the computer see the camera? does the camera require usb or firewire connection on the pc as found that out on a customer's pc? needed a firewire connection that she did not have so she got a firewire card that i installed.

Yes ,the pc recognizes the camera and I'm using the usb cable that came with it. Does not automatically comes up not like my digital still camera , once plug to the USB and turn on the camera it auto comes up.
