I don't see nayone who is "blindly" following. People are taking performance sides thus far, but no one has been outright "blindly" following. They are just defending their following with performance reasoning, which makes sense. The ones who are wrong, and when they realize that, they have nothign left but to blindly follow.
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

My advice: Wait for PS3.

hasnt it all been the same tho, get xbox 360 if ya want t play online, ps3 offline, obviously they'll both have offline and online games, but microsoft will always be goin for online interactivity and ps3 for self gaming experience.. i do think tho microsoft were bein too greedy, why bring it out so early if games cant use a lot of the 360s gameplay potnential, they should've give divelopers more time t develop to the system..

That's kinda the thing, who tf thinks they can say Xbox 360 is online best and PS3 is good offline only. After the results of PS2 online and the sucess of XBL, wouldn't you think that Sony would try and revamp it? Most people don't think, and that's a problem.
I'm not saying PS3's online scheme will be a success, I'm just saying that we don't know yet, not a bit, and for all we know it could blow XBL away. Personally I htink it'l be better, because Sony and Socom have always had the best community features, not just voice and mail messages to random ass people, but having a serious and dedicated clan, with clan wars that are tracked and rank you. I hate having to search for random games or for friends in XBL, I love socom's briefing room and game room set up with auto clan join and stuff.

I got mine running at 1080i on my HDTV an its simply mind blowing.

well yeah thats it ent it? nail right on the head! we can now only judge on ps2 online compared to xbox 360 online, which isnt really fair t say cus one is next gen, but wot will ps3 achieve? flop or hit? guessin from ps2?

Because PS2 didn't have good online performance (Community was beautiful though) SOny will be working really ahrd to mak ePS3 be good online. So the fact that PS2 did so bad, means SOny is working even harder for PS3, so it'll be good, hopefully

Rev's controler is one of those things that may turn out good or end up a flop, will be interesting to see, I think it will turn out succesful but one thing is for sure I wont be wasting my money on a console which I believe to be substandard compared to the others because of its original type of controler. One thing I dont like about the controler is all the attachments u may end up needing to use for it because they've tried to simplify it, for example there's the analogue nunchuku attachment, the pad shell attachment and probably more yet to come, which may mean more money and bits of pad everywhere!

Turn the controller 90 degrees in you rhead. Yep, you have an elongated version of the classic controller. That as their target, for all the classic games they will have for download.
I still don't like it though, what about the new games? It won't work well, but for the old games, it'll be pretty sweet.

I dont think I would ever buy one but If I did I would defintly get the controller attachment so it is more like a "real" controller
