Well imo people who let their wiimote fly into the wall = not so smart. Not to flame you, but come the hell on theres a wrist strap. I myself, have NEVER let go of the wiimote, or had it fly out of my hand. Hell, the likelihood of the wiimote flying out, is probably the same as someone getting ticked playing 360 and throwing their controller.
A) Yes I was wearing the wrist strap.
B) It Broke
C) It was my fault for swinging it at Mach 4
D) Alcohol
Lesson learned in my book, Plus I never even thought of blaming Nintendo I was actually shocked when I looked behind the TV and the Wiimote was still together, (I remember thinking to myself, "These things are built like NES controllers") After getting the batteries from the kitchen that thing worked perfectly. It's still my favorite Wiimote out of the 3 I have.
By the way this was about 2 days after launch. Before all the reports of Jackasses like me breaking the strap due to swinging the wiimote like I am trying to take a Major Leaguer outa' the park =) Just lucky it was drywall damage and not TV damage !!
Seriously though that strap did nothing when swung like that, that thing hit the wall at 50+MPH. I have to say it was Hilarious! The room was seriously instantly quiet.
By the way I wasn't flaming the Wii. I have had more fun with it than my 360. I just play my 360 10x more due to the lack of Wii games. I was just saying I have never had so much fun with my 360 or PS2 that I ended up tossing a controller into a wall at Mach 4.
lol oh ok, I thought you were adding to the guys comments in the comic about the wii being weak compared lol. Yeah, alcohol + wiimote, just be thankful you didnt have a nice HDTV. I bought my wii shortly after getting my nice HDTV from a black friday best buy deal, so I was extremely paranoid about it. I just find it funny that people swing stuff too hard, or play with sweaty hands, and it flies out, and they wanna sue nintendo for it. What's next at that point? Dropping your ps2 controller on an expensive glass table, then suing sony? Anyhow, as a result of people without common sense, I have to click through like 5 warnings on some games.
GT4 "always wear your seat belt"
Burnout "do not try this in your own vehicle"
God of war "slaughtering people and having sex with 2 women at once is not recommended in your search to slay gods"
Elebits "if you see multi-colored electric beings, please seek professional help."
I'm just waiting on the warning when you go to play the next mario games.... "If you see a turtle, please do not jump on its head, and do not eat wild mushrooms."
Anyhow, dont think I am going off on a rant, just saying something mildly amusing here.
