Hi All,

Just wondering about all you fellow SVCD creators out there...What bitrate do you convert your AVI's at?

I've converted a number of films now on TMPGEnc, and have sort of came to the conclusion that the following details will give the best results....

Convert using bitrate greater than 1800 Kbps with 2 Pass VBR and use inverse telecline.

I have found that if converting with PAL you probably need to use a minimum of 2000 Kbps for a decent MPEG.

What do you think.?..I always wonder about what everyone else finds the best cause I am always mucking about and find there are lost of things that can effect the quality.
