WiiKey Installation Method

I just got my WiiKey and Im think about which way to install it the wired method or the quick solder install and also keeping in mind I might need to remove it one day to replace it and would like to make the removal as painless as possible. Im no expert on this so any advice would help.

Most have already recommended the wire install. I don't think I found a guide yet that suggested to install it the quick solderless way.

Also keep in mind if you quick solder the chip in and you need to replace the modchip you will of course have to take the modchip out But also you will have to re-solder the points on the board again replacing the new modchip.

If you do it the wired way you already have the wires soldered to the points on the board which all you will need to do to replace the modchip is to solder the wires to the new modchip and any other points that might have been added or excluded with the new chip.

So my opinion is to go with the wired install so it is easier to update the chip if and when it needs to be updated. Less soldering will need to be done if the updated chip uses the same contact points as the old chip did.
