I'm looking to get a dvd recorder, but want to make sure there is a firmware upgrade for the one I get before I buy it. Any suggestions on a recorder and a site where it might have firmware download available? Thanks!

I have used it for several of my pc disk burners with great success. I have no experience updating stand alone recorders if you are meaning them.
