I read from other posts that you may need the disable feature in the future when playing online games, my question is will the chip be detected if your wiiconnect 24 is enabled or when you use the internet channel?. As far as I know you can do sytem updates without being detected, correct?

yes that is correct and i doubt that chips would be detected when wiiconnect 24 is enabled or using the inet channel cuz if would be detected, a lot of consoles would already have problems but until now no one has complained any problem regarding their modchip being detected while using the internet
and fix your thread title, as stated in the rules your not allowed to make useless thread titles (i.e. help, question, help me, and the sort)

Thanks. BTW, I'm not sure what's wrong with my title, I see other titles phrased the same type of verbage, I have a newb question so I thought it would be a good title, please help me understand, thanks

The problem with the title is it is vague. You need to be more specific on your problem or question in the title. Allot of members will skip over vague questions like this.

Plus you have started 4 to 5 threads already on asking about Moding your Wii. You could have just asked all these questions in 1 thread. Instead of stretching it out into multiple threads.

on top of that you should stop posting multiple times and just edit your previous post and also make your posts clearer

Don't get us wrong and think we are picking on you. We are just trying to be helpful and giving you ideas on a more efficient way of posting your questions.

Most members will be helpful and answer your questions. But when you start a new thread to ask another question on the subject of modding your Wii that gets confusing.

It would be better to...

1st Search for your question before posting it

2nd If you can not find an answer then start a new thread with a clear and to the point topic.

3rd if you have more questions on the topic you just stared ask in the thread you just created. Most members get e-mail notifications when the thread has been replied to and will take a look at the thread. Plus after a member reolys to it the thread is brought to the top of the forum.
